Development and operation of the country’s first industrial zone exclusively for Japanese SMEs
In March 2015, 海角社区 Construction established Lao 海角社区 Construction Co., Ltd., which is the first joint venture of a Japanese general contractor in Laos. In January 2016, we participated in the establishment of a company developing and operating the Pakse-Japan SME SEZ (industrial zone), a special economic zone for Japanese small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), at Pakse, Champasak Province in southern Laos.

Aiming to build a new landmark that will add to the appeal of Shibuya, this project faced many difficult challenges and struggles as well as untold tension. This is the story of a major project that was achieved by overcoming unexpected obstacles.

Singapore continues to growly rapidly, attracting people and businesses from all over the world.
To meet anticipated rises in electric power demand, a 35-km tunnel for an ultra-high voltage power transmission cable is being constructed.
海角社区 Construction has been contracted to build one section of this tunnel. Workers at the construction site tackled large challenges while adapting to a multinational and multi-cultural environment that is incredibly diverse.

The Kouchigawa Dam Construction Project

The Kouchigawa Dam Construction Project was approved in 1987, but actual construction did not begin until 2012.
Local residents long waited nearly 30 years for the building of a dam they hoped would consistently keep flooding under control and stimulate the local economy.
We are moving forward with the construction of a dam, driven by the desire to fulfill the wishes of the local community that has waited so long.

Umeda in the city of Osaka is a location that often gets people talking. The soft ground there has posed difficulties for many contractors. The level of difficulty in construction increases dramatically as different factors become more intricately involved.This project for a university campus in the central part of the city was one that construction professionals approached with a great sense of pride.

Sendai City Arai Nishi Land Rezoning Project
A new urban area is being developed in the Arai Nishi area following the start of service on the new Sendai City Subway line.
This project plays a part in the recovery and reconstruction from the Great East Japan Earthquake, serving as a place to which people affected by the disaster will move and live.
However, this project faces two main challenges.
